A fresh henna tattoo does not immediately appear dark brown. After the dried paste is removed, the design often begins as a light orange or orange-brown color. Over the following 24 to 48 hours, the henna stain oxidizes and becomes progressively darker.
Let Fresh Henna Dry Naturally
After your henna art is applied, avoid touching, rubbing or smearing the design while the paste is still wet. Allow the henna paste to dry naturally on your skin and protect the design from clothing, bags, furniture and anything else that may disturb the fine lines.

Jagua body art requires different aftercare from traditional henna. Although both create temporary skin stains, Jagua and henna are different materials and should not be treated as though they develop in exactly the same way.
A Jagua temporary tattoo develops into a blue, navy or blue-black stain that can resemble the appearance of a permanent tattoo. The color develops gradually after the Jagua product is removed from the skin, so it is normal for fresh Jagua body art to initially look very light.
Allow Fresh Jagua to Dry Completely
After your Jagua body art is applied, allow it to dry completely without touching or smearing the design. Fresh Jagua can transfer before it has dried and may create unwanted marks on other areas of the skin.
Avoid Touching or Transferring Jagua
